I have gotten some shots of the cars heading up mountain straight whipping up a wind tunnel effect with the droplets of rain, I have also gotten an amazing Ghosting effect of the Clearwater Ferrari. All photos will be published on my blog on either Monday or Tuesday afternoon, so check back daily for the new content!
Another dark and foggy day in the blue mountains, trying to get some shots of water spray coming of a car wheel as it goes through a puddle.
Went back to Bedford creek at the Ingar picnic area, the waterfall was flowing magnificently. I also got some good shots of the local ducks.
I haven’t been able to post many things for the past week because of back to school so I haven’t gotten any new photos or put up any new posts.
A good way to get a grasp of photography is by looking at other photographers work, so what I did was went out and got as many photography books as I could and looked through all of them. A professional photographer even gave me some of her old pre digital photography books and magazines for me to look at.
For an amateur photographer you will only need a basic kit, and until you branch of into specific photography like architecture or portrait.
all you will need mostly are the following; camera body, a great camera for amateurs such as me is either the Nikon D5100 or the canon 700D. Both offer a reasonable price range and exceptional photo quality. Wide angle to regular lens, a great small size lens that I use is an 18-55mm nikkor DX lens. Small telephoto lens, all photographers need at least a smaller range telephoto lens, I have a nikkor 55-300mm telephoto lens, the uses for this lens can vary a lot, from shots of wildlife so as to not disturb the animal to portrait shots so you don’t get distortion from a smaller lens and so you don’t get in the subjects face too much with flash.
This is the basic kit you will need for amateur photography and it has served me well so far.
